Who is Factor?

As far back as I can remember, I’ve been a nerd. When I was young, you could find me watching Star Trek: TNG or Robotech, trying to build complex gadgets out of Legos, or poking around the family computer trying to figure out how each piece works (and subsequently destroying it). As years went by, my interests in anime, sci-fi, music and tech grew, eventually expanding into performing (Cabana Boys), hacking, and volunteering at Anime Expo. There were some ‘unique’ moments along the way (anyone who went to college with me will remember the ‘library incident’), and the week-long anime marathons were always enjoyable (did we ever sleep?), but I never was content with where I was. I always wanted to do more.

Along with Bryan Yang, I created a weekly webcast called AX Live. After politics got in the way, I decided to leave that show and start a couple new projects. “AniBreak” is my home for talking about the latest buzz regarding anime, manga, and video games, with some rants and reviews thrown in the mix. “From My Mother’s Basement” is a celebration of everything geek. OtakuLife.net is my little corner of the net, where I muse on life and random topics.

If you enjoy these shows, thank you very much, and spread the word to your friends. If not, well…um…DISTRACTION! *runs away*
